About Viva van Assen

Viva is a native of San Francisco who currently resides near the world renown Golden Gate Bridge. Although her home and heart is in San Francisco, she has also resided in France and Japan. During her world travels and residency abroad, she has captured the hearts of the people she has met.

In her early days, Viva was commissioned to do photos for the California Men's Publication Magazine. Most recently, Viva was one of ten photographers selected by the Smithsonian for publication of her photos. Currently, she does weddings, children's portraits, family photos and various commercial assignments.
